STO 00220227-043-2016

JSC “IrkutskNIIhimmash” has developed the standard of organization STO 00220227-043-2016 “PIPELINE SYSTEMS. ACOUSTIC TESTING METHODS. The method of acoustic pulse reflectometry”.

This standard sets basic rules and requirements on conducting non-destructive examination using acoustic pulse reflectometry (APR) method for tubes, tube bundles of tube-and-shell heat exchangers and other pipeline structures and systems examination.

The standard applies to pipeline systems made of metal and plastic that have nominal pipe diameter of DN 15…50 and length of 0.5…15 m.
