JSC “IrkutskNIIhimmash” is a diversified organization having research and development, design and engineering, diagnostics and experimental-production bases.

The Institute is a member of the self-regulatory organization “Design organizations of PJSC “Oil Company “Rosneft” (Krasnodar), NPO SRO “Prombezopasnost of Siberia” (Kemerovo), the Scientific and Industrial Union “RISKOM” (Moscow), All-Russian labor union of industrial security experts (Moscow),  Irkutsk Regional Non-Profit Partnership of Producers and Entrepreneurs, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the East Siberia, The Russian Society for Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics (Moscow).  Institute representatives  are included in the technical committees of the Federal Agency “ROSSTANDART”.
