STO 00220227-040-2015

JSC “IrkutskNIIhimmash” has developed the standard of organization STO 00220227-040-2015 “PIPELINE VALVES. Regulations and methods of
strength and impermeability calculations”.

This standard sets the regulations and methods of design calculation of pipeline valves working under the internal excess pressure up to 32 MPa (320 kgf/sm2) and at fluid temperature from minus 50 °С to 400 ° inclusively. The direction of the fluid flow is “under the valve”.

The document is applied to the standard constructions of pipeline valves complying with TU (specification) 3742-061-00220227–2013 [1], TU 3742-063-00220227–2013 [2]. These pipeline valves are used in chemical and petrochemical industries, at mineral fertilizers production and in other adjoining branches of industry. STO is developed in accordance with the requirements of GOST (State Standard) R 1.4.
