Mission

The mission of joint stock company research and design institute of chemical and petrochemical engineering (JSC “IrkutskNIIhimmash”) is to provide industrial, design, technological and engineering solutions for enterprises of various industries aimed at creating safe, secure, energy-efficient process equipment and units, estimate its technical state and remaining life on the basis of a comprehensive, scientific approach and innovations.

To realize our mission, we solve the following scientific and technical objectives:

1. We develop new equipment and improve existing one for the chemical, petrochemical, refining, gas processing, oil and gas producing, and other industries. We design objects for production purposes, as a general designer followed by the implementation of developed projects, relying on years of experience in development work, knowledge of current advances in technology and engineering.
2. We execute work in industrial safety field:

• industrial safety expertise of technical equipment used on hazardous production facilities, in instances under article 7 of the Federal law “On Industrial Safety of Hazardous Production Facilities”:
• industrial safety expertise of buildings and constructions on hazardous production facilities intended for technical process performing, feed or production storing, people and cargo transferring, containment and recovery of accident consequences;
• monitoring of technical state of technological systems and their components, buildings and constructions of commerce and industrial purpose;
• incoming equipment quality control (verification) before placing in service;
• certification testing and other types of testing of engineering products;
• manufacture of technical units operated on hazardous industrial facilities including high pressure pipeline valves and hub detachable joints.

3. We conduct an applied research work in the field of metal technology, impermeability, strength, and also for the purpose of developing technical solutions using methods and means of control and monitoring the technical state of equipment, buildings and constructions.
   4. We develop the regulatory technical documentation (company standards, national standards GOST R, guidelines and training materials).
   5. We carry out electrical measurements.

We solve scientific and technical problems by:

• developing qualitative and efficient project, design and technological solutions;
• creating reliable equipment and providing its quality repair;
• ensuring objective and accurate technical state assessment of troubleshoot equipment, projects’ compliance with regulatory requirements of current applicable codes;
• wholistically promoting safe operation of hazardous production facilities;
• assisting in reasonable (energy efficient) use of energy resources of enterprise entities;
• manufacturing a pilot innovative products and carrying out its statement into batch production, introducing in various industries.
